City Administration Closes Earlier on August 20

Due to the Lidl Deutschland Tour, which will stop in Schwäbisch Hall on August 20 and 21, extensive road closures and parking bans will occur, especially on Thursday, August 20. The city asks for understanding regarding the restrictions and recommends taking them into account when planning the day.

On August 20, from 14 to 18:30, neither driving into nor out of the affected areas by car is possible. Public transport is also interrupted during this time.

Opening Hours of Municipal Facilities

The city administration and municipal services will close their locations to the public at 12 o'clock on August 20. The service number 115 for authorities is available as usual. The telephone center at 751-0 will be staffed until 17 o'clock.

The city library will remain closed all day.

The Hällisch-Fränkische Museum, the city archive, and the tourist information are open as usual.

Information for Families and Visitors

All kindergartens in Schwäbisch Hall, the primary school holiday care, and the affected parent houses have been informed about the closures. The pickup times have been adjusted.

Race Route and Accessibility

The fastest riders could arrive at the Rinnen area on Haller Gemarkung shortly before 16 o'clock. Subsequently, the race proceeds to the final sprint. Crossing the finish line on foot or by bike is usually possible. The city recommends consulting the volunteer course marshals and ensuring a clear path. The sidewalks remain usable.

According to the city, arrangements have been made in coordination with the emergency services and the race organizers for emergencies.

These Streets Are Affected

The Deutschland Tour runs from the Rinnener Sträßle to the Gaildorfer Dreieck. There, the finish line begins, which is fully closed from 14 o'clock. The route then continues via the Stuttgarter Straße, Johanniterstraße, Langer Graben, Crailsheimer Straße, Ellwanger Straße, Bühlertalstraße, Sulzdorfer Straße, Einkornstraße, Hessentaler Straße, Steinbacher Straße, Neue Reifensteige, Ringstraße, Ritterstraße, Alte Reifensteige, Rollhofsteige, Sudetenweg, Gaildorfer Straße, and again via the Stuttgarter Straße to the finish entrance on the Ellwanger Straße at the level of the Schenkenseebad.

Almost all closures will be lifted by 18:30. An exception is the Ellwanger Straße: The section from the building society/Tüngentaler Straße to the Hessental roundabout remains closed from 6 to 21:30.
